It is your time to visit one of the most breathtaking wadis in Oman! The upcoming canyoning adventure will be to Wadi Hawir. Be prepared to experience an amazing hike with crystal-clear water, incredible waterfalls and spectacular views of mountains in different shades of brown and warm beige which reflects the sparkle of the water. Wadi Hawir is located in Ash Sharqiyah. This unique place is 2.5 hours from Muscat and it is connected to Wadi Bani Khalid. Be ready to jump into multiple waterfalls and abseiling your way down for a thrilling experience for almost 3 to 4 hours hike with an easy-medium level of difficulty. Make sure you are wearing a proper shoes for hiking as the rocks are slippery. Be in a comfortable sportwear for hiking and swimming, and bring a spare clothes and towel as you can change after we finish and go back to the meeting point. A portion of Wadi Hawir allows one to slide down to the pool below using the natural stone slide carved by the flowing water for hundreds of years. Do not worry, you do not need a prior experience in swimming, life jackets will be provided and the guides will be around for help. Bring a small backpack to carry out water to stay hydrated.
