Just before the pandemic, we explored one of the most beautiful canyons in Oman and experienced the real thrill of adventure. The Tiwi canyon was full of greenery, with the terraced palm tree gardens stretched along the edges of the canyon, right over the bizarre calcite formations that we’ve spotted along the way. The water in Wadi Tiwi was something else – thanks to the pale limestone rock, it’s clear waters turn sky blue, an out of this world view! We jumped in the deep pools of the wadi and even roped down an active waterfall, as we made our way down towards the village of Tiwi, where we had a delicious feast – this very moment was not documented as we were too hungry to actually take the photos!!
